Privacy notice

Last updated 16 October 2026.

This notice explains how Gupta Rajat & Associates, Chartered Accountants (“the firm”), F-87, Sector 44, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201301, India, handles personal data that you provide through this website. It applies to the website only; personal data received during a professional engagement is handled under the terms of that engagement and the firm’s professional obligations.

What the website collects

Enquiry form. If you send an enquiry, the form collects your name, organisation (optional), email address, contact number, country or city, the service area you select and your message.

Technical data. When you visit the website, the hosting provider’s servers process technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, as is necessary to deliver web pages. To protect the enquiry form from abuse, your IP address is also held briefly in the server’s memory to limit the number of enquiries sent from one connection; it is not stored by the website.

What the form does not ask for. Please do not send identity numbers (such as PAN or Aadhaar), bank or card details, passwords or copies of documents through the website.

How the information is used

  • To read and respond to your enquiry, and to decide whether the firm can assist.
  • To keep a record of correspondence.
  • To protect the website and the enquiry form from misuse.

The firm does not sell personal data, does not use it for advertising, and does not send marketing communications to people who have made an enquiry.

Consent

The enquiry form asks you to confirm that you have read this notice and agree to the firm using your details to respond to your enquiry. You may withdraw that consent at any time by writing to carajatgupta88@gmail.com; withdrawal does not affect anything done before it.

How enquiries are delivered and stored

Enquiries are sent from the website to the firm’s email inbox through an email delivery service. The website itself does not keep a database of enquiries. Enquiry emails are kept for 90 days from receipt and then deleted, unless the enquiry leads to an engagement (when the firm’s professional record-keeping obligations apply) or the law requires them to be kept longer.

Cookies and analytics

The website does not use cookies for advertising or for tracking visitors across other websites.

The website does not currently use any analytics service.

Service providers

The website is operated with the help of a hosting provider and an email delivery service, which process data on the firm’s behalf to run the website and deliver enquiries. These providers may process data in countries other than India. Links to Google Maps and WhatsApp open those services, which handle your data under their own policies.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask the firm for access to the personal data it holds about you from the website, ask for it to be corrected or erased, withdraw consent, or raise a grievance about its handling. Write to carajatgupta88@gmail.com or to the office address above. The firm handles personal data in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and, as its provisions come into force, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Security

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and the enquiry form is validated and protected against automated abuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, which is one reason the form should not be used to send sensitive financial or identity information.

Children

The website is intended for adults and businesses and is not directed at children.
